Together as trade professionals and private consumers we are concerned that the dishonest practice of 'Car Clocking' is widespread and growing. We believe that the misrepresentation of a cars mileage represents a very real danger to road safety and a threat to our reputable business's.
Consequently we the undersigned petition the Department of Transport to make mileage readings recorded under the National Car Test (NCT) available to the motor trade and private consumer alike. We firmly believe that this will greatly assist in the prevention of 'Car Clocking' and enrich the car buying experience for all involved.
