Request For Urgent Action On Consumer Studies Education

It is really affecting us and we hope that our voices are gonna be heard

We would also like to bring to your attention that since our previous educator left, no structured work or proper lessons have been provided to us. This has made it extremely difficult for us to stay on track with the syllabus and understand the subject content. Despite the lack of teaching and guidance, we have been required to write surprise tests and quizzes on work that has not been explained to us. This has placed us at a serious disadvantage, as we are being assessed on content we have not been adequately taught. As a result, our Term 1 results were significantly lower than expected. Many of us, who usually perform well in this subject, received marks that do not reflect our true abilities or effort. This situation is discouraging and is negatively affecting our confidence and motivation. We strongly believe that this is unfair and does not support a proper learning environment. We kindly request urgent intervention to ensure that teaching resumes effectively, learners are properly guided, and fair assessment practices are followed.

We would also like to note concerns regarding the educator's short temper and difficulty in accepting accountability for mistakes. This creates an uncomfortable learning environment and makes it harder for learners to ask questions and fully understand the work
