Subject: Request for CCTV Footage, Support, and Community Concerns Regarding Tongaat Clinic

Dear [Tongaat Clinic Management],

We're writing on behalf of [Mrs TJ Langa] and her family regarding the incident on 23/09/2021 at Tongaat Clinic where a chemical mix with boiling water splashed on [Mrs T J Langa]'s leg during a task in the admitting department.

This happened days after [Mrs TJ Langa] complained about bullying and a toxic work environment, which the supervisor ignored. Since then, [Mrs T J Langa] has been in and out of hospital due to the wound, leading to permanent disability and impacting her life. The family has spent a lot on medical care.

[Mrs T J Langa] was supposed to do wound dressing daily and be seen by the doctor for a progress report, but she can't go to Tongaat Clinic because she's afraid of the people involved in the injury. They're still working there, and she fears for her safety as they can access every room, including consulting rooms.

We request:

1. CCTV footage from 23/09/2021 to support [Mrs T J Langa]'s case

2. Safety measures to ensure [Mrs T J Langa]'s safety

3. Support in line with the National Health Act and Patient's Rights Charter

Additionally, we would like to bring to your attention a concern about the cleaning contract awarded to Namsile Trading Enterprise CC. While we welcome local business opportunities, it's concerning that they've brought in outside workers instead of hiring local Tongaat residents. We request you review this and encourage Namsile to prioritize local staff for community development.
