As of now there are 21 Gender-Neutral bathrooms for approximately 38,000 students. Not only are Gender-Neutral bathrooms more private, they also are inclusive to all gender and gender-diverse students on campus. Please sign this petition urging AHEC to increase the amount of Gender-Neutral bathrooms, or at least have one Gender-Neutral bathroom per building on the Auraria Campus.

The feedback regarding the current accessibility of campus facilities has been illuminating. I am currently compiling these experiences to present a formal request to the administration for an increase in gender-neutral options.

The response to this campaign indicates a strong desire for more inclusive facilities across the Auraria campus. This momentum confirms that our request for additional gender-neutral restrooms resonates with a large portion of our student body. I intend to leverage this support during my upcoming meetings with campus administrators.

As a non-binary student of MSU Denver, it was incredibly frustrating to have to walk all the way to the Tivoli every time I wanted to use the restroom or choose between two gendered bathrooms (neither of which suits me). I hope future students don’t have to put up with this.
As a person with a service dog, gender neutral single bathrooms greatly help me in terms of accessibility. I have colleagues on campus who have struggled with bathrooms due to the exclusive and sometimes uncomfortable nature of gendered bathrooms.
I would honestly feel a little safer and more comfortable on campus if there were more gender neutral restrooms on campus
I’m a genderqueer student who doesn’t feel comfortable using either restroom, gender neutral restrooms would make me feel physically safer on campus
MSU’s transgender and non-binary students deserve bathrooms they feel comfortable and welcome in
One on each floor (or maybe every other floor) would be good too
We have gender-neutral restrooms at home. Why not other places?

As someone with many classes in the admin building, I am beyond tired of having to walk ~5-7 min round trip to the King Center to have a bathroom that feels safe for me.
