I am an agent for many years and have contributed financially by paying my taxes.. Paying EAAB fees.. Ieasa fees and gets nothing back in assistance to the value I put out to the coomunity I work in.. But only to get punished for deeds office lockdown.. Municipality lockdown and unfair restrictions on my profession to put my out of a job.. An Income and totally out of business

Good day, I am currently unable to earn a salary and request financial assistance. My taxes are up to date. I am compliant with all the requirements that the EAAB requires however I have monthly financial commitments I cannot meet at this time. Please help me and my fellow Property Professionals. I am an independent commercial broker, and self employed. I have already been declined by SADTF and SMME fund because I am a commission earner and a "director", which is merely a title, yet instantly disqualifies an application for personal assistance. As a sole proprietor, I too, as many agents here, now have no income or means to generate income due to lockdown.. This lack of income may be for as long as, 1 June '20, and later if and only when clients can pay deposits for occupation. We would like to make our voices heard, and to be able, to get financial assistance.

We do not earn a salary and being on lockdown for over a month means rentals are not paid, no money for food and electricity just to mention a few and the most basic. My landlord is wairing for his rental payment and I do not have a cent and I am a widow looking after 2 children.

May we also get government relief as tax payers for we can't work because of the lockdown as responsible our job require that we take clients for viewing and negotiate with sellers as well as list their properties.

Assistance for Agents, who are independent contractors. Not assistance for Principals or business who take a large chunk of our commission.
