Summer classes were my blessing during my two degrees at Concordia.
It was always very difficult for us to find appropriate Summer classes during my TESL degree and several of my classmates went to other universities to do them.
Adding a few would be a blessing and a relief to students.

I support the motion to have TESL courses open during the summer for students to complete their degree. Students have to struggle with balancing their budgets and working to sustain their living while being required to complete so many courses in a short time frame with little wiggle room. Allowing more options will make it more manageable, less stressful, and allow students to give their all at their passion.

Giving students more options improves our chances for greater academic success and enhances the student experience in TESL at Concordia. The flexibility we're after also helps to even the field from a socioeconomic perspective and that is always desirable and even essential when it comes to access to post-secondary education for more people!

I fully support the motion to have TESL courses made available during the summer semester. Although it is my last year, and I won't likely be able to benefit from this myself, it's great to imagine that future students might have this possibility!

I hope changes will be made. I am waiting a full year to complete my final internship, with no courses to take until then.

It would also be helpful to have EDUC/TESL courses not conflict with other courses in the schedule as is often the case with the limited summer courses being offered currently.
