i am part of armadale community growing garden in armadale westlothian n think what these guys are doing for there community in promoting health and wellbeing n giving locals a chance to learn new skills and get out and meet new friends and learn about growing and the bennefits this can have for there health and well being for themselfs and there familys and the younger generation ,i think the request for the council to reinstate concessionary lets for community food growing should be re instated.

local food growing initiatives benefit everybody - a win,win situation. The Council should be proudly demonstrating its commitment to a healthier environment and healthier population.

With so many vulnerable people suffering food poverty and ever increasing fuel costs driving up prices this would be an inspired move by the council which I am sure would gain them support from the people of Edinburgh

It makes so much sense to encourage local food production not penalise it.

this kind of community use and care of our open spaces will save the council money spent on maintaining amenity grassland instead.
