I believe that A levels should either be cancelled, with predicted grades or mock grades (whichever grade was better depending on the student, in order to make it fair for the people who already started revising but did badly in their mocks but had better predicted grades that they can apply to uni with, or vice versa), but i think this might be a better idea for people who take coursework-based subjects, or to go forward with the exams but implement special consideration/lower grade boundaries in order to make it fair for us who are affected and to make it easier for people to get into university, especially if their offers are conditional and they have to attain a cartein grade to get in. I know that a number of people have left the country that might be unable to return before exams start, and we have online learning, which most people don't really benefit from as it is harder to focus and interact with teachers of we need help. To sum up, please help the pupils affected to get into uni and get the best grades possible despite being affected, as everyone's circumstances are different and it wouldnt be fair for pupils that put lots of effort into revising for these exams to end up with a low grade and lose their oppurtunities due to factors out of their contol. Personally, I was not affected as badly as other pupils but I have done horrible in some of my mocks/topic assessments due to mental health reasons and teachers setting unrealistic grade boundaries and/or teachers not teaching the content properly, but had decent predicted grades which matched my offers for uni, but i was revising for these exams as if they were to go as normal and i dont want to lose my chance of going to university because i have done badly on a few tests before i knew i will be affected by this situation. I really hope my predicted grades can get me in if exams are cancelled

Cancellation of school and lack of competence on the online-teaching part of things makes it difficult to concentrate and due to this, many if not all students have been affected by this and missed out on key topics that were not covered by teachers.

External exams should be cancelled, especially with the current situation and instability caused by the war. Many students are dealing with stress, uncertainty, and distractions that make it hard to focus or perform their best on one final exam. It’s not fair to judge students based on a single test when their learning has already been affected by factors outside their control. Instead, schools should rely on predicted grades, which are based on a student’s performance throughout the year. These grades reflect consistent effort, improvement, and actual understanding, making them a much more accurate and fair way to evaluate students during times like this.
