I truly believe the examinations should either get cancelled or postponed, not just beacuse its unsafe to leave the house but also as our learning time is being disrupted due to the environment around around us, many of us are facing mental distress and i believe the grades and performance may be affected due to this.

The ongoing war has created a stressful and uncertain environment that can seriously affect students’ ability to focus, prepare, and perform well in high-stakes exams like IGCSEs. Many students may be dealing with anxiety, disrupted routines, or even direct impacts on their families and communities, making it unfair to judge their academic performance under such conditions. Education systems are meant to support students’ growth, not add pressure during already difficult times. Cancelling or postponing IGCSE exams in the UAE would allow students to prioritize their well-being and safety while ensuring that their academic futures are not defined by circumstances beyond their control.

This conflict has had a huge impact on my life,Someone who last year used to be so locked in IGCSE when the exams were getting closer but now I can’t focus on my AS level due to this issue. You have to understand that we are humans after all,That your making us write exams in soo much pressure that will determine our future and either we can’t focus too. So understand us.

Forcing students to sit these exams under such conditions is not just unfair — it is inhumane.
