We can’t really study and we didn’t get the chance to learn more the last 2 weeks of school because it was online and most of the classes we need to close the session because of the emergency alarm

The IB always teaches us about caring for each other and caring for the situations people are in without their control, but their actions in continuing the IB and student putting their lives in danger just to take an exam. As an IB student in the middle east, I can not concentrate due to bombing only a couple of miles away, which affects my overall mental health and not being able to study the way I should.

I am protesting because proceeding with IB exams during the current crisis in the Middle East is simply not fair to students in our region. Standardized exams are supposed to measure our knowledge under stable and equal conditions, but right now those conditions do not exist. The uncertainty, fear, and constant tension caused by the conflict make it extremely difficult for students to focus, revise properly, and perform at their true academic level. Many of us live in countries very close to the war region. Even if the war were to stop soon, the effects do not disappear overnight. There is still anxiety, instability, and disruption in daily life. Students cannot just switch off that stress and suddenly sit high-stakes exams as if nothing happened. Exams like these determine university opportunities and future paths, so they must be taken under fair and stable circumstances. Another issue is preparation. Throughout this period, many students have struggled to study normally. Constant news about the conflict, fear for regional safety, and the psychological pressure of living near a war zone have made concentration extremely difficult. When students in other parts of the world are preparing in calm environments while students in this region are dealing with crisis and uncertainty, the playing field is no longer equal. Logistics are also a real concern. Wars affect travel routes, airspace, infrastructure, and general stability in the region. Even the possibility of disruptions creates uncertainty around exam delivery and scheduling. Students should not have to worry about whether conditions around them are stable enough for such important exams to take place. The IB has always promoted values such as fairness, global awareness, and care for students. In moments like this, those values should guide decisions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the IB demonstrated flexibility by adapting the assessment system to protect fairness for students around the world. A sim

The IB officials should be cancelled, the IB say they care about our health and mindset but have not taken into consideration the students who are facing war right now and losing loved ones and cant study for the officials.

I hope the ib exams to be cancelled, it is very hard to occupy and revise everything we took with the current wars happening, we are not stable emotionally and mentally during this war and news.
