Request for Cancellation or Alternative Assessment for IB May 2026 Exams in the Middle East

I am very stressed bcz of the war I can’t do exams I won’t be able to study and focus pls cancel it

Warning alerts /sirens goes off Atleast 3 times a day in Bahrain and they want us to do the board exams, student are in flight or fight response 24/7 we can't focus to study or do exams

Cancel IB the circumstances are unrealistic and impossible

I fully support this request. As an IB student in the Middle East, specifically in Bahrain, it is very difficult to focus on studying when there is so much stress and uncertainty around us

Not prepared well enough, stress is getting to us, noises very loud, our country is small, haven’t left my house since war and it’s scary to leave. Very small country we feel everything from everywhere

We are in a situation that we can’t take any exams we haven’t even done mocks or completed the syllabus

My house is very near the places where they hit and me and my family are very scared and we have trauma since my dad was in a war before this so we have experienced a lot of stuff so I rlly can’t focus and feel like this would be unfair

it’s so unfair how we didn’t have the time to actually practice for the exams like other countries did, we are severely underprepared. also, how do you expect us to sit through multiple exams for hours when even in our homes we feel unsafe.

I can't focus with the sound of blasts every few hours.

Its really challenging to take ib board exams due to this situation

We are experiencing on going safety concerns, including bombs and constant sirens which is affecting our ability to focus and preform fairly in the exam, I kindly ask you to consider our situation and prioritize student safety and well being

Hi. I hope my message finds you well. This is how we are all staring our messages from here in Lebanon. This is not a standard beginning. It's a way of checking if people are ok, still alive, if their family are intact. We just come to know that the IB exams are cancelled in UAE while for Lebanon you are still observing. Not comparing, but our kids in Lebanon are living under constant terror. Our school, because it has american word in it's name, is under constant pressure and direct threats. Going to school it's a risk. Our kids life it's at risk and you are still considering. We may not be able to count on our national authority, but we should be able to count on you to care about our childrens mental health, wellbeing and safety.Please stand up for them and cancel the in person exams in Lebanon

It's unbelievable that only the uae gets to not do it and extremely unfair since all of the middle east is facing the same difficulties.
