Consider our wellbeing and fear

As a student currently studying in Israel, in an area directly affected by ongoing conflict, I would like to respectfully raise a concern regarding fairness in assessment under the present circumstances. We are experiencing daily disruptions, including multiple sirens (often four to five times a day)which significantly impact our ability to maintain a stable routine. Most critically, this has led to severe sleep disruption, with many students, including myself, averaging only a few hours of interrupted rest each night. While we fully acknowledge that all IB students face academic pressure, the conditions we are currently studying under are not comparable to those in more stable environments. The lack of sleep, ongoing stress, and safety concerns directly affect our capacity to focus, prepare, and perform to our true potential. In the interest of fairness and equity, I respectfully urge consideration of a non-exam route or appropriate adjustments for students in conflict-affected areas. This would ensure that our final results reflect our abilities rather than the extraordinary circumstances we are enduring. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

The Ib is very demanding and we can not be at our best position during the ongoing and escalating situation

In this situation, we simply cannot focus on our studies, or even get proper rest, especially when we are IB students in Israel.

We are really not in a right state for the final exams so please cancel the finals

Change the exam to November it allows for our minds to reset

1. We haven't completed the syllabus due to insufficient studying time as a result of mandatory days off and online learning which teachers aren't taking seriously 2. Stressful chance of being physically impacted by missiles and bombs, in other words, injured or killed, which makes it difficult to study 3. Seeing your country being involved in a conflict is very distressing 4. Unknown route makes it even more demotivating to study
