I would like to explain that my mental state is currently not okay, and I am struggling to focus on my studies. The situation around us is very stressful, and there is constant fear due to the ongoing conditions and the threat of rockets. This has caused a great deal of anxiety, fear, and emotional distress. At this time, it is extremely difficult to prepare for or sit exams, as we are under continuous stress and worry. Our mental well-being truly needs rest and support, and this does not feel like an appropriate time for examinations. I kindly ask for your understanding and consideration regarding my situation.

With everything that's happening now in the Middle East, it's causing too much stress on us students to study and do our exams. With this serious matter happening in our country it's impossible for us to focus on exams

We need as exams to be cancelled

I believe all students are under a lot of stress and school was shut down for a while, everything is unstable and it’s unfair that we have to sit the exams while other countries also in the ongoing war don’t have to, we need to speak up!

Students aren't in the right mind set to take up exams. In qatar

IGCSE exams should be cancelled in Qatar to ensure fairness with countries like the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Lebanon where exams have already been cancelled. Students are applying to the same universities, so it is unfair that only Qatar students must sit exams and face more pressure. Cancelling exams would reduce stress and allow students to be assessed using coursework, mock exams and teacher assessments, creating a more equal system across the region.

I think that this war has shaken up all students across the gulf region, seeing that we have had some losses aswell, it would seem more fair for us to be included in this decision, and it also seems unfair that we were on the original decision and were taken off after.

We are actively being bombed almost everyday and its not fair that the UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain all do not have to do the exam and we do!

I think it’s best to cancel the exams because we don’t know what’s going to happen next and it’s the safest option.

Based on the current situation in the country we are unable to study or take exams such as IGCSE and A-Levels and we’re afraid to attend in person due to the circumstances
