Exams should be cancelled because no student should be expected to prove their ability while facing fear, instability, or uncertainty. When safety and well-being are at risk, fairness in assessment no longer exists—humanity must come before grades.

With the ongoing war situation, continuing the IB May 2026 exams feels extremely risky for students in affected areas. Safety should be the priority. The alternatives that were provided unfortunately don’t really solve the issue for many students who are dealing with travel problems, uncertainty, or security concerns. Under these circumstances, it seems necessary for IB to reconsider the current plan and provide a solution that actually works for everyone.

We need support from the MOE and IBO to cancel our IB May 2026 Exams due to extreme stress & pressure during the ongoing conflict. If UAE & Qatar have cancelled their exams, we should be treated with the same fairness.

I urge IB to cancel exams in Bahrain immediately, what IB is doing does not align with the values they have set, about being fair. Cancelling exams in a country that has similar conditions to Bahrain but still expecting us to do the exams is unfair please consider correcting this behavior.
