RY and Y1 and Y2 children are so much safer playing in the area they are in now that is flat with no steps. Imagine by how much the number of accidents will increase with all the steps and sloped paths an their way from the suggested new classrooms to the play area suggested in the new plan. I absolutely agree with other comments that number of staff supervising children would be a priority instead.

I think an open meeting accessible to all would enable a greater understanding of the proposed changes and quash some of the rumours that are inevitably circulating. Both the school and parents need to continue to work TOGETHER and be understanding and supportive of each other especially during difficult times. I am a Y6 parent and this has always been my experience at the Vineyard.

The school had a major building works just 3/4 years ago which had its own affection on our children at that time. Is it really nessessary to go through another building works ?

The school has only very recently been through re-development, so we need to understand what is inadequate about the completed work, how it impacts upon our children’s safety, well being and education, and be clear on how the proposed changes would benefit our children. If PTA money is to be relied on the parent body as a whole should be given a voice. As funding becomes tighter we are more concerned with the quality and number of teaching staff.

Looking forward to it - is it true that there will be no more Creative Arts Day? Shocking...

It would be good to see a full impact assessment in addition to the bullet pointed anticipated benefits.

Clarity and transparency please. The community needs to be involved in the future plans for our school.

I agree with the need for communication, which is why I have signed. However, the school agreed last week to do this, as announced by Thomas in last Thursday's PTA meeting. It seems some parents don't want to listen. Communication is a 2 way street and we need to listen as much as shout.

I would like an open meeting to be able to hear and respond to the concerns/support of all parents, teachers and governors. From talking to others who attended different workshops it is clear that slightly differing information is being offered at each session and the written information differed again.
