Request for ADS national board to publish board meeting minutes, recordings, and financial reports
American Druze Society (ADS) members are concerned about the well-being of their society. The current ADS board refuses to publish important documents like approved board meeting minutes and financial reports, despite multiple requests from members asking the board to post these documents online or make them available to the general membership.
It is a requirement of
the ADS bylaws that the Board of Directors make financial information and
meeting minutes available to its members.

The volume of support for this petition has cleared the threshold required to force a formal response from the board. I am currently drafting a letter to the leadership that demands they comply with our bylaws regarding financial disclosure. Expect an update once this document is officially submitted.

The ADS as a nonprofit agency working for the community must remain transparent to it's members. Not publishing finanical reports or meetings reports to it's members is not negotiable.
So, with just a little power, it got to their heads. Don't those people realize that ALL the ADS financial information can be very easily obtained from the IRS from the board doesn't dare not to provide the minute the financial info is transferred to the IRS it becomes public document foe all the world to see.
I strongly agree that it is our right as paid ADS members to be informed of all contents and results of all board meetings. After all we are living in a free democratic country that respects humans rights.
I support my fellow ADS members in requesting from the current Board of Directors to rise up to their responsibilities, and conduct business of the ADS according to bylaws. It is very alarming to see the ADS Bard reach this level of irresponsiblie behavior, and lack of professionalism.
Dear board members, current president of ADS, Next president Rima and all that have pledged to serve and uphold the ADS bylaws. Stand up and be counted , you preached transparency and went out of your way to hold others accountable. Apply same principals to yourselves, you still have time to come out clean.
Clear misconduct by this board
to OUR ADS CURRENT members please send the information that is requested by our National Chapter as you took solemnly swear and faithfully execute the office . Just would like to know if anyone else is doing what you guys are doing where is your dignity to your children and others in this matter. so i ask you to do what is write and respectfully responed of what your asked for. Thank you
