Please keep Julia in the Tuckahoe school district. She belongs there and no where else. I grew up with her mother and she deserves that, As well as her family. Give them all peace.....

I could only hope that the school district would find the compassion. Not only did Lucile attend Tuckahoe Schools and graduate , she was a long time resident and raised her own family here. Then only to become apart of the district as a teacher and raise her daughter in the same community . This request should be granted!!!

This child has been through enough and should not be forced to leave the school. Lucille was a fixture here at Cottle and was dedicated to all our kids. Her daughter must remain in Cottle as it was one of her last wishes. We as a town need to think "what if this was my child"?

This turns my stomach to know that a child is already heart broking that the school won't let her to continue to attend after her mother worked there for so many years

The public education system is supposed to be here to support families when they are in need as well as educate students!

This is clearly the right thing to do -- especially considering the additional stress involved in a move to another school shortly after the death of a parent, and the benefit of being with those that you know when looking for support.
