Request Airbnb to remit ALL transient occupancy tax to the City of Big Bear Lake or remit NONE and continue to let Hosts remit their taxes
The City of Big Bear Lake requires all lodging businesses to remit transient occupancy tax in the amount of 11%. Airbnb will begin in February remitting only 8% tax to the City, requiring hosts to remit the remaining 3% to the City. This petition is to request that Airbnb either remit All of the taxes or NONE of the taxes.
