We, the skaters of Republic, are petitioning for a skate park or skate park plaza. Our area is well known for producing good skaters. These skaters would greatly benefit from a community skate park as well as local business' and business owners. We skaters often skate at business' because the obstacles they offer. Many people ban us from the property for insurance reasons, as well as property damage, such as waxed steps/ledges and chipped concrete. A skate park in our community would eliminate these problems.
