It's time the Western provinces were recognized and appreciated as the economic engine of this fine country. It's also time we sent the torontarian liberals a message that we do not agree and will not be treated in a manner befitting of a kindergarten. The govt is supposed to serve the people, not the other way around.

I'm signing this petition because, historically, the Liberal Party has NEVER inspired confidence in me. Their quasi-socialist practices have long been anti oil and consider Westerners to be beneath them! It's time to take a stand and boot their collective butts out of Western Canada for good!

I am a supporter but should we separate all the city dwellers will need to understand what is imortant and quit wanting parks and walking trails and fluffy stuff. A govt would need to be restructured and not based on the systems we have now. Ixnay on all the layers and people with degrees who are a minority making decisions and go for direct democracy ie Internet voting on all bills a lot cheaper than paying idiots to push social programs we don't need when people like myself who have worked seven days a week never being unemployed and now only working 40 days in a year
These problems are not about liberal conservative or ndp. It is about a bunch of babies who want it all but won't work more than 8 hrs a day 5 days a week with full benefits Unions will have to go and for a republic to work major infrastructure will need to be built in rural areas to get product to market everywhere so the townies reading this better know they will have to give up a lot of extras. A military will need to be instantly formed. The west will have no planes tanks or ships. Short term answer will be immediate arms training for all stable citizens and requirement of all people to have arms Removal of rcmp. Installation of police forces everywhere. With out all that and more it won't work and we will be sitting duck. To separate will be a very big undertaking. And require sacrifice and input from people of all walks of life

Yes we need to look long and hard at separation form the building BS in Ottawa, and kick the NDP out of the west period

For now we have to make it known, through social media and this petition, that we are indeed serious and have the numbers to back us. Remember that according to the Clarity Act we need a definite majority, 60% and then the Feds must negotiate our departure. Plus it will also take separate referendums in each province! Difficult but not impossible. The beginning starts with a signature on this petition and passing the word.

Let's get out of Canada before the influx of the possible terrorists who have already made a video saying Canada is next. I do not want to see my children,grandchildren,friends or neighbors in the West hurt or killed. Alberta is already suffering because of the idiots in both governments.

I was so unhappy when CBC announced as soon as a Majority was reached , with no respect for the west , still voting ,
you have water on both ends , raw resources , good roads and Sea Ports in BC ...
I am helping to care for my parents of 90 years of age , so I am needed here for now , please be sure to build a
government of the people , farmers and lawyers ,responding to the peoples needs NOT a PARTY need like we have now
