I Agree, resuming court work with some restrictions due to Covid 19 is acceptable. Every lawyer understand the pandemic now will take enough precautions and measures while working in court premises. Govt and hon'ble judges have to understand that it is very difficult for lawyers to survive without work as everyone is not senior designate or big lawyer who have good backups! Lawyers do not get salaries or pension so how they will survive if there is no client no work for them. Mere small financial help from Bar council is not sufficient for freshers or lawyers in need. It is difficult to shell out salaries for clerks or staff of whatever office or chambers they are maintaining and to look aftr needs of their home, their children expenses etc!. Govt is not helping every lawyers by way of financial assistance neither lawyers get loan facilities from banks. Therefore, it is a situation like "survival to the fittest" for lawyers. As per the study only 20% laweyrs does not require any financial assistance due to their roaring practice. However, the rest 80% lawyers community does require help or assistance and way out to survive and it May be u or me or he! Due to collars high and self respect and dignity it is do or die situation gor many than to ask for help or assistance by lawyers even from their own collegues. Therefore, kindly address this problem to reopen the courts soon so that normal working starts for eaning livlihood. High court or subordinate courts may be requested to resume with all the sanitizing systems ( steam panel room like systems and touchless sanitizing dispensing machines to be installed ) in all entry gates. Kindly address these above mentioned problems before hon'ble chief justice and ither vompanion judges on my behalf as well. Thankyou..stay safe stay healthy.

I think we can start the court proceedings in a restrictive manner, as these pandemic conditions are going to continue for a long time & we need to learn to live with these conditions by taking all precautions. Lockdown of courts & having virtual hearings of only very urgent matters can be an intermediate solution & not a permanent one.

We can also talk about filing online. Some suggestions are as follows:- Mentioning request be made online, through one sheet document, at 9 AM, Which can be disposed by 10 AM. Anybody aggrieved by the disposal of mentioning can approach Court at 10:30 AM. (This would reduce morning rush) Advance submissions to be circulated amongst counsel, a day before hearing say by 6PM and copy be sent to Judge. All cases, where mediation is on, it can be resumed with immediate effect, with social distancing. Physical Hearings by time slots atleast like pre lunch or post lunch sessions on a day. In cases both counsel suggest e- hearing, that must be given. All registrar hearing must be VC hearing only, but for recording of evidence. There can be many other items like these.

Commedable thoughts sir... We can't sit home for indefinite and undetermined period.. Courts should reume, in physical maner, at least with some matters.

It is a noble cause as many of our lawyer friends are not equipped with smart phone and connection to internet to attend hearing though video link. It will be an opportunity for those also to attend hearing
