We, the undersigned, extend our best wishes to you for the New Year and respectfully provide the following information regarding a group of Vietnamese pilgrims currently traveling on foot through Thailand as part of a journey to India. We have become aware of misinformation being spread by Mr. Doan Van Bau, who has falsely used the name of Mr. Theerawat Damrongakkarawiwat (also known as Doan Van Tan) to claim that "Royal Thai Police" and "members of the royal family" are involved in controlling the pilgrimage. Mr. Bau has also implied that the Thai police could arrest anyone who raises questions about this false affiliation.
