In New Jersey it is every person's responsibility to report child sexual abuse to the state child protective agency (DCPP). Failure to report is presently a disorderly charge. Please support Senate Bill 884. This bill would make it everyone's responsibility to report child sexual abuse to law enforcement. Failure to report would be a Fourth Degree Crime.
