Replacement of disposable plastic cups with recyclable alternatives

Ég vil einnota plastumbúðir burt. Það er hægt, en það þarf sameinaða rödd stúdenta, kennara, skrifstofu rektors og FS.

I would gladly pay more for food and coffee if I could obtain these in no-plastic environmentally friendly packaging.

It's a no brainer og HÍ ber að standa sig í umhverfisvernd.

Auðvitað á HÍ að vera í forystuhlutverki í vistvænni umgengni.

Það er kominn tími til að HÍ taki forystu í þessum mikilvægu málum!

Væri líka frábært ef Háma myndi vera með hentugri pappadiska sem auðveldara væri að flokka!! fáránlegt að þessir pappadiskar sem hafa plasthúð fari í almennt sorp!

Wrappings represent a somewhat bigger issue, since most of the sandwiches, smoothies, cookies are sold in plastic. To find a solution to replace that, we will have to brainstorm a bit more.

Þetta er algjör tímaskekkja að vera með plastbolla og samræmist ekki upplýstu þekkingarsamfélagi sem háskólarnir ættu að vera.

I think this is something that should be done. We want a University which is as environmentally friendly as possible. Actually, I would have liked that this petition would have gone a little further to remove all single-use plastic from the University (including the cutlery, straws and wrappings).
