BELOW ARE SOME COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES............ Plymouth Terryville Town Councilwoman Schenkel stated that the difference between the Public Works Department and the Fire Department was that the Town did not have Town-wide residents yelling that the Fire Department was not doing its job, and noted that the Fire Department was in fact doing a phenomenal job. She further stated that there were townwide complaints against the Public Works Department, to the point of lawsuits over issues being neglected and not being implemented. Town Councilwoman Schenkel stated that if the Town needed a Public Works Commission to sort through these types of issues then she would recommend that the Town put Anthony Lorenzetti on notice and inform him that he would have to compete for his job when his contract was up in February. She further stated that the Town would go out for bid for Anthony Lorenzetti’s position and then the Town would start with a clean slate and build this all from scratch.
