This show makes me sick. Worse now than it was when it went off air. I never liked this show but I could put up with it when it was on. Not these new episodes. Christopher Meloni's OC show is like the best one and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. SVU is bad too, the Olivia Benson Show is so stale. Mariska needs to pull a Mark Harmon and go behind the camera. Olivia is doing too much. Wolf needs to fire all his Law & Order brand writers and start over!

As an attorney myself who used to enjoy sitting down to Law & Order to see the comparison of reality versus fiction, I can say the new seasons of the show really blur that line. Half of the stuff they are doing in court now would not even stand up, these cases would out right be thrown out. And with Price and Maroun having so much conflict with their jobs, they'd be suspended every other episode. Prosecutors don't act like they do. They aren't all Ben Stone and Jack McCoy's either, but they are a better representation. Does the show have legal and technical advisors anymore? Because I'm surprised this stuff is even approved to make it on to television! I guess times have changed. I'll watch the old run of the show until they change the writers staff or this version of the show is canceled. Sounds like the latter may wind up being the outcome if Mr. Wolf and NBC don't step in soon.

I watch Law and Order for years not the right show anymore Consuela was my favorite lawyer. This new lawyer lady can not control her emotion the guy is from the Britain no good. Every week no good. ¡Estúpidos chicos en sus equipos de escritura! Larga vida a la "Ley y el Orden"

This is too much. You need to study the old and put it into today's new. Stop using AI to write your scripts

My mom used to love this show. Jerry Orbach, Jesse Martin, Sam Waterston, S. Epatha Merkerson. I grew up on it and liked Linus Roache, Jeremy Sisto and Alana de la Garza. I watch FBI for them. Stopped watching this show after Sam left. Probably why he left. Something is not right with it. Newer blood certainly couldn't hurt. Or beg René Balcer, Roz Wineman or Mike "Nooch" Chernuchin back.

This show is bad. Whoever greenlit this for TV needed to have their head examined. I think they want to be like CSI, tell stories quick with shock value and not go into detail. Sad. Hope it can get better.

This show sucks. They need to stop rebooting shows if they aren't going to make them like they were when they were originally on TV. Dick Wolf said he was putting the show in the history books, should have left it there.

I'm old enough to remember the disaster of season 18 of SVU. I mean even Mariska herself came out and said it wasn't a good season. They just replaced the guy that left it with a woman. They need to do the same on "the mothership" if you even want to call this show that. It doesn't look like it to me. It looks like the Police Chase-Nolan Price Crying Hour" because that's all they got so it seems. I've been a fan of the shows since 1999, SVU made me watch the original series. Damn good TV until recently. It's like they don't care or something. Plus Dick Wolf doesn't work on these shows he has anymore, it's all on whoever he has as head writers. If they suck, he's probably not aware (or he doesn't care either, he has his money). Good luck guys, since 2022 this has been here?

Been watching Dick Wolf shows/Law and Order a long time! Looks like this petition got created back when the reboot came out in 2022. 2025 is when I'm signing it because NOTHING has honestly changed except the cast. The writing is an abomination compared to the original 20 year run. It had a poor season or 2 (particularly season 17, to which Eid was a staff member on that writing team, says a lot because Wolf and NBC replaced that show runner with Balcer before the season ended, sounds like history repeating itself). Eid's kind of shows are like FBI and Chicago PD where he can do action, he and his staffs don't necessarily get into the bone of issues, they just use them as reasons to write stuff in scripts but they don't delve into the nuance of it. And don't get me started on the lack of law in the court side of the show now. Emotion is good, but it's bland. Especially the Nolan Price character who is the other lead character and he's a horrible prosecutor. I feel sorry for Hugh Dancy, because this writing isn't matching up to the talent he has. This petition likely won't oust Eid, but it feels good to vent frustration about him with like minded people!

The reason why I sign this petition is because this man Rick Eid has been the cause of destruction not just on the Law & Order reboot but especially Chicago PD where he has drastically made a lot of changes behind people's back and not just me alone it has upset many viewers who have watched both shows and it's about time he gets sacked from his job.

Hor-Ri-Ble. Just horrible. Not the show I remember from 2010. Definitely not the one I remember from the 90s!

Guess add Law & Order to the list of once successful shows to "not to reboot" in the future? Crazy. Dick Wolf and NBC really screwed the pooch on this one. I hear Organized Crime isn't doing the greatest either; it's why Ilene Chaiken was fired.

Fire this man or cancel the show. Chicago P.D. went south thanks to this man. Why DW would put this man back on an L&O is beyond me. Like someone else said, Warren Leight is an ass-wipe but at least I can watch SVU and not cringe due to the tone.

So I think the L&O: SVU episode you mean is "Unstoppable" but Unstable sure describes that season of SVU and the U.S. As for the mother ship's revival? It's a shadow of it's former self, even when it was bad on the original run. We have a main character on the police side who honestly does need to be back on a show like Dragnet in the 60s. "You people" they seriously have a character who's supposed to be an unbiased NYPD Det. saying lines like this? And Hugh Dancy is from Hannibal fame, he's a well established actor and he is being given some just crap lines to deliver. "What ever the jury decides, is right?" Nolan Price should be channeling Cutter, McCoy or Stone, he seems to me to be clueless at times. Bernard is even ticking me off now versus on the old series. I feel like Camryn, Odie and Sam are just there. All this talent along with the name that Law & Order made for itself and it's basically trash? The ratings aren't that good either. NBC better step in now or cancel the show, because if it doesn't change in the writers room and FAST; that is the direction it's heading.

I saw the episode WICKED GAME and I was disappointed. All season the headlines are ripped to close to the actual events. Take the disclaimer out of the beginning and ending of the episodes. This new reboot needs work. I'd rather have Warren Leight run it, he's full of himself too but at least SVU is watchable. The reboot and Organized Crime just don't click.
