Final supporters
Students in Ms. Deleva’s grade 10 math class are struggling to understand her accent and her teaching style and techniques. Students continue to struggle throughout their math class everyday due to her lack of communication within the classroom between students. The teacher fails to ensure her students are well taught each and every math lesson and worksheet. Due to the poor quality of teaching, we are suggesting a teacher change. With all due respect we know Ms. Deleva is a kind and respectful teacher, and we all respect her deeply. Though, we cannot continue to be taught such an important subject with poor quality teaching. We’ve heard complaints with past classes that have encountered Ms. Deleva as their math teacher, and have very similar complaints compared to the current complaints of most grade 10 students. Our grade 10 fellow classmates and students continue to be affected and continue to lack rather than learn new math concepts each and every math class. Grade 10 math is a very important aspect of a student education, as it teaches us new math concepts and lessons compared to in grade 9 it was review of grade 8. Grade 10 math helps us transition into grade 11 math and so on. Grade 10 students, by signing this petition, you agree that this is a problem you continue to face in your math classes daily, and will not stop until action is taken by the school or the TDSB. The administration continues to ignore our messages while our grades suffer in a classroom where nobody can learn. Ms. Deleva is failing to teach the curriculum and the school board is choosing to look the other way instead of fixing this disaster. We refuse to accept this lack of instruction for another day.

Needs to “deleave this school” liek I have nothing against her but she cannot teach at all, my marks are going to drop drastically if she keeps on telling us to “read the board” rather than explaining step by step
