We have students attending Madison. Masks have NOT proven to prevent sickness. Covid is mild and very statistically survivable! Let individuals choose their personal level of risk, as with everything else!

Adults (aka students) should educate themselves, make a decision themselves about vaccination, and be allowed to record gif themselves whether the mask or not mask. We should be teaching them to critically think and analyze and make their own their decisions. That is part of the reason They attend a highly/acclaimed university like UW...not to mention their freedom to choose should remain in tact.

More people died in car accidents yesterday than from COVID. The median age of death from COVID is higher than the national average age of death. It’s time to stop nodding our heads and putting up with this ridiculousness. Sadly, there’s a large percentage of students who are happy to be good little foot soldiers and do as their told. These people are not of sound mind and deserve our pity. Absurdity demands to be called out.

If Uw Madison is saying the can enforce a mask mandate to ensure the health safety and wellness of its student and community, why was not already met when they offered free drop in vaccinations? Anything beyond that is beyond the scope of power of the university
