Our taxes should be used to enrich our young people so that they can have a great future, not to enrich the greedy parasites pushing charter schools that suck money away from public education. They hand pick the students, they destroy the unions and they still do not provide an education that is on par with the public schools.

Repeal the Charter School Act of 1992

The privatization of public education by charter schools has two purposes: 1. To take 40% of the $1.3 trillion annual nation public education by those supplying price inflated goods and services to charters; 2. To dumb down the American electorate, so that they do not have sufficient education to question the corporatization of this country into an oligarchy.

Charter schools have created a more unequal and segregated system for the poorest students in the Los Angeles Unified School District. This act was designed to steal the education and future of our most vulnerable children. It is racist, immoral, and shameful.

Like the wolves in wool's clothing, charter schools are private schools (hybrid) with false public school designation and title.

Our California Charter schools law has provided a Trojan horse for corporate predators to profit from public education and eagerly push phony "standardized" tests on our children for even more profit. Time to repeal that law

Public schools are the best.

I stand for public schools.

Please make our public schools a priority. Please make any alternative live up to the same regulations and oversight. Please don't gone up on this cornerstone of democracy.

Keep our public schools strong. We should not be using taxpayers' dollars to support private endeavors.

Charter schools use public monies, but lack public accountability. Many operate not in compliance with Ed Codes that insure safety and equal access.
