Charter schools do not improve outcomes and without regulations, many are corrupt. Many counsel out our most vulnerable children. We need schools that put students before profits.

Charter schools take money away from our important public school which are for all. Charter schools lead to privatization of schools by corporate groups interested in profit, not democracy and nurturing children in their development as learners and thinkers.

Charter Schools squander public school dollars & take no responsibility for the nurturing of our democracy.

End the madness now. Make schools something for which kids have enthusiasm and can develop a love for life long learning. Kids are human beings, not objects for data mining.

Charter schools were created as a ploy to destroy the public school system.

Public education is a huge pot of tax-payer money that corporations want to plunder. They are using every means to capture it -including, most importantly, their corporate media networks to convince people that their public schools and teachers are failing, advertising their charters as better, and instilling fear by creating a false comparisons with third world countries such as China and India. We must stop this corporate takeover of our schools and save our democracy.

The deeper I look at the Charter School Movement the nastier it becomes!

Democracy is based on free quality public education. The private charter schools take away billions from already underfunded public schools. They have no oversight, and no record of improved outcomes.

Our public school system needs to represent our public need. That's what "public school" means. A program for our children in our public community to be educated! Plain and simple. Every child in a school district deserves to have a high quality education. I pay property taxes to support this and I want you to maintain a social system that provides a public school program that provides education to every child of every ethnicity, sex and social status what they deserve to thrive in our community.

Privating education is anti-democratic, injurious to culture, anti-American. Please oppose it however you can.

Public schools need to be protected and prevented from privatization. Charters operate under different rules and often are not transparent.

Public Education is the American Dream...Opportunity for all....Expand it, improve it, raise its funding, value it...but not by undermining it with inferior charter schools.
