I am a public school teacher and a parent and I think charter schools need to end. Charter schools are accountable to their shareholders first and foremost, not students. Our society needs to invest in all public schools and all children.

Save Crown Valley Elementary in Laguna Niguel of Capistrano Unified School District from being closed down as a result of the relocation of CRA charter school from another city!

This repeal should absolutely happen! If our public schools are failing in some way, the solution is to fix them, not to divert their funding into private hands where the result is no standards, and no accountability at taxpayer expense, and to the detriment of our children's and ultimately our society's detriment.

Public education should not be for sale. Profiteering from public tax money that is meant for public school services is wrong - declare unconstitutional in Washington state. Education as a commodity is causing all of the poor quality, highly marketed ed reforms in the US that are killing our public schools systems. Take back your local schools!

My neighborhood school where many children walk to school is being closed so that a charter school can have the site. Our kids bussed out so that charter parents can drive their children to our community site. We were only given notice 1 week before the board meeting. It's wrong to be forced out of your neighborhood school.

Charter schools take away money meant for our neighborhood schools, do NOT service all our children, and have not shown to do a better job than the local public schools.
