Please sign and send to friends this petition to repeal the 17th Amendment. it was signed into law in 1913 and transferred most of the states powers to the federal government. It also turned this country from a Republican form of government into a Democracy. Our Founding Fathers knew better than to make our country a Democracy as many of them said things like that of John Adams who said, "Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide." The Founding Father studied all types of Democracies and found they all ended in tyranny. One more thing to convince you of this truth just say the pledge of allegiance to the U.S.A. flag and note that you say, "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic...". Notice you did not say and to the Democracy!? Now sign and pass it on. Thanks for protecting the Republic and the states rights guaranteed in the 10th Amendment.
