From the Netherlands. When the word from the Dutch government came to get home asap, I booked a flight for Saturday night (two days later). Unfortunately, I was denied boarding since I would have to do an overnight stay in Melbourne which I found out at Queenstown airport. Couldn’t find that online before.
The funny thing is that a girl I met on Facebook, was allowed boarding in Christchurch on a flight to Melbourne. We had the same transit to our mutual flight to Dubai.
I would really like to go home since I am stuck here now. My grandmother is sick because she suffers from cancer.
I responded as quick as possible when I received word from the government. However, now here I am.
