If anyone deserves reparations, it is we the people of the south. Black, white, native American, Jewish, German, Irish, etc. My great grandfather and his son had 1500 acres and no slaves at all in upper Mississippi. It was destroyed. They both served in the Confederate Army. After the war, they up and moved as much family as they could to Louisiana.

As a southerner and US veteran I am appalled at the disgrace being shown towards my fallen and deceased comrades because of where they are from and the fact they faught and died for their beliefs.

Lincoln’s invasion of the South was illegal. The invading armies destroyed farms, houses, cities, and other property. 300,000 Southerners were killed, including slaves. Land and property were stolen. The South needs reparation for these atrocities!
