Have been doing water aerobics for 40 +years and am moving here to be near my daughter. Was sad to find out there was no pool available. So glad to find out that this one is going to be repaired.

Well, I have lost 75 lbs through my efforts and also had a dangerous mole growth cut out of my back by my dermatologist this year.
I and many people wouldn't be wise to spend our exercise time of the hot Somerset Kentucky sun.
Somerfit it a bit more than a luxurious exercise facility to those susceptible to sunburn and skin cancer. Swimming in an indoor pool is one of the few physically strenuous exercises we can participate in.
Also I note that often the most crowded exercise class at Somerset was the various aqua classes for those needing gentle and safe physical therapy buoyed by the pool water.
It's really a shame that like the town square at 100 Public Square such poor design and building work was done in building the Somerfit facilities. Those facilities need repaired.

Pulaski County has some of the highest obesity rates in the country. We need every possible way for people of this county to get healthier. Please repair and reopen the Somerfit pools.

The pools are such an asset to this facility, and i know our family would benefit greatly. The option to be able to have swim classes with living so close to the lake is huge . Water saftey is important. Also so many need the low impact work outs that the water and pools offer. Please save the pools!

I myself would love to see this reopen due to the fact I was bring my hanicaped son uo there to do water therapy 3/4 tines a week and now the closes therapy is is in bowling Green or Lexington this was Great for my family.

It is the only place I feel good in my skin when swimming. I bring my Clients there to teach them how to swim. It would be great to see it reopen so many people can enjoy it the way my family does.
