Governor Gavin Newsom also needs to be included, for his misinformed judgment and discrimination against nail salons! He purposefully allowed Hair Salons to open before Nail Salons without any indication of when Nail Salons would be allowed to open initially.

Governor Cuomo, I am a successful small business owner for over 18 years. This shutdown is going to put me out of business not covid. We are prepared. Facials can be done safely with proper guidlines. Please advise.

Gov. Cuomo, I have supported your decisions during this crisis but I feel you need to re-evaluate this issue. If schools can open then these people should be able to go to work with safety protocols in place.

It is unacceptable that governor cuomo has allowed gyms, schools and other large venues re-open but not spas. Esthetician’s are the most sanitary professionals. Allow spas to open!

Govoner Cuomo please let the Spa industry resume. My daughter graduated from Esithecian school in February, how is she to survive in her profession when you refuse to include the spa industry in the phase reopening plan. The state takes there money for licensure, but does NOT allow to perform facials.

Please let us reopen , we have completed many classes on disinfection and sanitation and installed ( and spend lots of money ) on the right equipment to comply with the N.Y. state and CDC standards of sanitation.
We are under 1% of affection rate for 17 days now. Esthetician’s in medical spas have been working for 2 months now. They have exactly the same training and education as the solo esthetician. It’s very unfair to discriminate between esthetician’s and choose who can work and who is not allowed to. Thank you. Ilse.
