This area let young people just like I was blow off a lot of steam, I could of ended up getting into anti - social things, causing crime and disturbances very easily.. I've seen it happen, but my parents bringing me here definitely had a huge impact on me staying out of trouble and into a hobby, councils removing graffiti, repairing windows.. Police arresting youths all cost money, a lot more money than policing a small quarry land.
I get people have died is an issue, I've lost a friend myself to motocross, but this place, as dangerous as you think it is, is not as dangerous as people driving the off road vehicle on our highways. Any victim of flappits whether it be an injury or death would all vote yes .. reopen the flappits.

the flappits was a amazing place, in the summer watching everyone having fun on there toys, it kept the youth off the roads causing havoc and gave them a place to ride there dirt bikes without causing harm to people on the roads, it must be re opened

Would be good to see it back open again. I would be there every weekend and would happily offer to help out in the running of it.
