Its one of the only places we have to ride without it people are taking to riding on roads re open have medical staff and stuards people would gladly pay for usage

The flappits is where i learnt how to ride a motorbike and id love for it to be re opened

I used to go here with my dad and ride my quad and motorbike but since it shut I cant so not had a quad for years, would he great for it to reopen

The flappits keep off road bikes from the roads and has a real community spirit

I used to ride here 12 year ago, was a great place for bikes,quads,4x4. Police and councils have no clue. All they do is close these places andpush the bikes onto the streets. Some people like my self don't want to go to the tracks. Tracks cost money and I have a job and don't want to be restricted to a track that has obsticals u cant avoid and could cause injury. This is the second place that has been closed to bikes Tha I used to ride on. For what no reason behind it appart from it been dangerous. Were riders we risk our lives any time we get on a bike wether its at a track or not. Its a risk we take and its a risk we accept.

ONLY BEEN ONES BUT HAD GRATE TIME THERE IT WOULD MAKE A PEFECT PLACE TO RIDE OFF ROAD BIKE/QUADS AND ON ALL DEFFRANT SUFFACES. HAS THE POTENIAL TO BE REALLY GOOD

Was up there at the weekend and had a blast. Didn't see any warning signs, just a couple of dog walkers. Shame. It needs some momentum and a few people to roll with it who have the time and experience to make it happen.

Cheapest motor sport around these days 8hr of fun on £20 petrol flappits was the home of offroad moto x trials and 4x4 now just legend to some but part of history in west Yorkshire and for west yorkshire

Where have the days gone of "ride at your own risk????
Local residents will now complain about land fill nuisance and car crashes relating to stinky bin wagons emptying there load on the residents door step. Nice!!!! Shame on the sausages who forever complained about the flappits and then now complain about motorbikes riding in there streets, school fields and parks!! #whatdidyouidiotsexpect

BRING BACK THE FLAPPITS no better place to spend a Sunday afternoon gives young lads something to do
