We must remember what can never be reclaimed: natural beauty and the safety of our people. Yes, we need electricity -- but at what cost? Please utility companies, put your money into developing other ways of providing this most necessary thing.

Spend the money on developing distributed generation instead.

Since you are a public service commission for the people of Wisconsin, please listen to them.

This is an unnecessary power line that will irreversibly destroy the land and water. It is proposed solely for corporate profit and will cost rate payers instead of helping them.

Please abort CapX2020 Transmission lines are corporate assets used to issue corporate bonds. CapX2020 is not about safe, affordable, secure, renewable, reliable energy for the people. In 2014, distributed renewable energy solutions are the smart choice for the future of America and the world, for at least seven generations: Before the traditional Iroquois convened their consul meetings, they invoked this declaration: In our every deliberation we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations. Thereafter, any vote included an equal vote cast by a representative who spoke specifically for the needs, the survival, and the dignity of those who would live a hundred and fifty years in the future. For the Iroquois, the generational format of their council defined a long-term relationship between government and ecology. The rights of future generations never became an issue of policy because it was, instead, the very context of policy. Conservation was, thus, the very foundation upon which their culture was built. We the people have the right to choose our future. Please abort CapX2020, it is not too late.

S3897 Plum Run Road La Farge, WI 54639. Concerned as a ratepayer of Vernon Electric/Dairyland Power Cooperative and resident of a Town with stated energy priorities based on local power and energy efficiency. Both are potentially negatively impacted by investment in the high voltage transmission option of the CapX2020 proposal.

We don't need the line and we don't want to foot the bill!

Consideration of all energy solutions is the most prudent and cost effective solutions for all citizens of Wisconsin, and would rule against the high cost of CapX2020.

Stop CapX2020 now before our land values drop and our The Great River Road looks like a series of transmission lines and poles.

This line is totally unnecessary and, once again, will benefit those with money and power (pun intended); while it would perpetually rape our rural landscape, farms and wildlife.

If it must be built, it is obvious that it should be located along a freeway even if it costs more and is less direct, instead of a beautiful river valley that is sensitive to any foreign infrastructure. The "cost" to this river valley must be considered.

We have lived all of our 71 years in this valley now when we retired we have to look at a ugly line. They keep saying we are using less energy so why do we need it. If you have to have it put it down the interstate, where you are suppose to be watching your driving not the scenery. Thanks

Re-open the docket, re-route the proposed line to a less scenic environmentally and historically sensitive area, e.g. Interstate 90.

Please reconsider the CapX2020 line. It and the Badger Coulee line across Wisconsin is not necessary. These lines and towers are obtrusive and unwanted. Our beautiful state that depends on tourism needs every dollar tourists can bring in. Viewing our wonderful hillsides through these tall structures is unacceptable.
