Please reopen Royal Street Pedestrian Mall. We all love to hear the Bands on Royal. And the Bands bring in business to the stores on the Street and surrounding locations

Yes, royal street and the "feeling of New Orleans" depends on not changing things but moving forward. Keep the barriers up for pedestrian traffic it has worked fine in the past and will continue. The police know what to do and how to get around, when conditions dictate. Also keep Frenchmen open to New Orleans talent " on the corners and in the street".

Ridiculous. So we run scared? No we don't- Police state, no thank you. That kind of protection is the opposite of helpful. Terrorists: 1, NOLA: 0.

Closed streets are so much nicer for the humans. The strolling pedestrians. Royal and bourbon closures are part of our city's magic.
