Recently moved here, the local park was a factor in our decision. Sad that we could lose out on taking the children to a park within walking distance from our house

This is a community necessity for all the children and if it was agreed then it should go ahead.

I’ve lived on PNC for 28 years and used the park for my children and ow my grandchildren. I have never heard of any safeguarding issues! The evidence should be shared with the residents. Are the Community Councillors happy that parents, with pushchairs and small children have to cross a busy road frequently used by lorries and buses, in order access a play area?? Where’s our Council Tax going?

We’re meant to be encouraging children to be more active. Closing this park doesn’t stack up. Disgraceful.

Spent many hours in the park with my kids, it seems a shame others can't now have the same enjoyment.

We live on PNC, to see this park go would be terrible!! We pay the highest council tax and have the worse public facilities.

My daughters played in the playground when they were small. Recently my Grandchildren played there. What are the safeguarding concerns? Have they changed since the playground was opened?

The community council would be welcome to discuss any issues - including safeguarding concerns -with the local community so we can find a solution to keep the much used play area for local children.

Having access to a safe playground is essential for young children. Parc Nant Celyn is a lovely reserve and was a favourite for my family. It is essential the playground is refurbished as quickly as possible.

This is a valuable resource for the young children in the area. The next nearest park is via a dangerous narrow foot path, too far and not safe for children. We need this park reopen as soon as possible.
Ridiculous decision!

Ridiculous decision that must be overturned
