Please reopen for lift assistance for those who were denied but who were substantially damaged with a mandatory lift. How can we lift without this money?

Great program, hope it is reopened to help all who still need to raise their home after Sandy.

This program needs to be reopened. The way it has been run is disappointing to say the least and so confusing to many including NYR. You need to treat our residents fairly!

This has been a very overwhelming time for all Sandy vicitims. I feel the people who didn't apply and who continue to be hesitant are the people with the least resources and the most need. Please extend the deadlines and reach out to people who may need help in seeing the benefits to the program.

Being a widow with triplets, I had a BAD contractor who basically stole the lions share of insurance. My mother died as a result. I'm only now beginning to get the paperwork completed. FEMA still owes me money. I have an award letter fr NY Rising and have only received one small check. The insurance co screwed me. The stress and costs associated with this storm have been daunting and paralyzingly to me and my children. I really need help.

I spoke to a lot of families who really need this program! They were absolutely devastated in the storm and missed the opt in date.

My children were devastated by hurricane Sandy, yet saw little from NY Rising. Please help everyone you promised to help!
Thank you.

Being traumatized by Sandy and not being an expert in insurance and grant money, we unfortunately did not join and we wish we would have. If there are more people whom need support, there should be no reason NOT to re-open it. There was a lot of information and disinformation out and it was very confusing. We work, pay a lot in taxes and are excellent Massapequa citizens and it is in NY State's best interest in keeping us. thank you
