Eastern derry township vfd has been shut down due to insurance being shut off because the township did not give the fire department their grant money of $30,000.00 they receive every year. The township has paid the insurance since day one. Our audit that they asked for was successfully completed and approved by their auditor. Our concern is for the community and protecting the people in our community and Saving live's.
