Please see Blackfish and then make your decision on whether performing at Sea World is the right thing to do! It shouldn't take a documentary to naturally know the injustice and immorality of what Sea World and others do. It is COMMON SENSE that it is just wrong. There are no "sides" to this issue. The facts are what they are. They take beautiful beings from the ocean, essentially kidnapping them from their families, and force them to live in a tank for decades to perform ridiculous tricks for "human entertainment and GROSS profits". It is pitiful and cruel and performing there only perpetuates the evil of it all. Please reconsider. Thank you!

Dear Reo Speedwagon please watch Blackfish & cancel your gig at SeaWorld, I’m sure once you’ve watched the documentary you will no longer want to perform at SeaWorld, you could make such a difference, as by not performing will lead to more public awareness of the plight these marine mammals endure daily a life of captivity & misery and the realisation that ‘Seaworld is an outdated barbaric institution’ and these wonderful marine mammals need to be set free. Since the early 1990's here in the UK there have been no captive dolphins or whales on display, public opinion in England on the confinement of these sentient, intelligent marine mammals in a totally un-natural environment purely for public entertainment began to change. The moral issue of keeping such wide-ranging marine mammals in a cramped space, performing for their food under the guise of education or research began to be questioned. Dolphins and whales were in captivity for one reason and one reason only, to make money.

Please watch Blackfish and cancel this show. Captivity kills, be a friend to the orcas! We <3 them in the ocean with their families.

Science has irrefutably proven that unique personalities; self-awareness; thinking into the future; social cooperative adaptation, geo-sociological cultures, languages and traditions are no longer secular to humans. Put simply, dolphin are too intelligent to be used as slaves. Notwithstanding the corollary atrocities associated with cetacean captivity: Murder, Torture, Kidnapping, Inbreeding (including, masturbation and other depraved practices). In the age of information ignorance is a CHOICE. Please Google "dolphin capture" "dolphin in captivity" and "breeding dolphin" Then 'choose' to perform at Seaworld; and we will all choose to boycott YOU.

please don't support cruelty, these places are all about exploitation and profit, these amimals are proven to be intelligent, self aware and suffer greatly with much reduced lifespans compaed to their wild counterparts, many having been taken from the wild. Calf mortality rates are also higher and inbreeding of the orcas (often deliberate as most of it is via AI) is rife. That and they often create hybrids of orca that do not occur naturally. They have no conservation or educational value at all., in fact the captive industry helps fuel the hunts in Taiji. by paying thousands of dollars for each animal they take into captivity, while the rest are brutally slaughtered. It is not a tradition most of the Japanese people do not know about it and will not knowingly eat dolphin meat (it often gets mislabelled) due to the government covering up. The hunts are fuelled by and only continue because of the captive industry, and many species, including the striped dolphin, are in real danger of being wiped out because of these hunts. Please research, or watch Blackfish, The Cove (not easy viewing be warned), A Fall from Freedom, Lolita:Slave to Entertainment. We all know how badly wild animals suffer in circuses, marine parks are nothing more than glorified circuses for marine mammals, and the circus can literally drive animals crazy. Wild orcas are too intelligent, too socially bonded to their families, and too well adapted to their natural environment to do well in captivity. Zoos at least are often geared towards conservation and have reintroduced species back into the wild before, marine parks are all about profit and entertainment, and in the past and now their impact on the wild populations is often the opposite of conservation. Please, please reconsider performing there. .
