Reo Speedwagon has officially pulled out of the performance. It has been a long and draining road to get here but they heard us. I am taking a moment to breathe before figuring out where we push next.

I would ask, as a fan, that you watch the documentary Blackfish before you decide to perform at Seaworld Orlando on Feb. 15th for the Beer and Bands. As public figures, you have the potential to deliver a message, whether good or bad. In performing at Seaworld you would be communicating the disregard of the highly sentient, sensitive, family oriented creatures that are the Orcas and dolphins that are kept in captivity there, never to swim free again, to be used as incubators for future performers, and only to retire through their death. Barenaked Ladies were asked to view the documentary Blackfish, and have opted out of the performance line up for that day, and I would ask that you also watch this informative piece of filmmaking and follow suit. The times are changing in what I, as a parent, want my child to understand about this world we live in, and it is to teach compassion and kindness to all, especially to those that have no voice to speak for themselves, we must be a voice for them. Your voice could ring loud and long to tell Seaworld that holding these wonderful creatures in captivity is wrong, and you could tell your fans that admire you that you are indeed compasionate and aware of others in our world. Thank you.

Please watch Blackfish and change your mind about performing at SeaWorld. Captivity is cruelty. Know better/do better/be better. Join Willie Nelson, Heart and Barenaked Ladies in cancelling performances at this ABUSEMENT park. Be the voice for the animals. Thank you!
You were the first concert I ever went to and I have always loved you guys. I do however love our oceans and the whales too. Please do not play this show! I would never feel the same about you guys again if you did. :( Sea World is not a good place, watch Blackfish.
Your entertainment was kidnapped. Tilikum was never a rescue, rehab, nothing. He was kidnapped at 2-3 years of age, separated from his mother and pod to live in a bathtub as a circus performer for human laughs. It's 2013! Empty the tanks.
The times are changing in what I, as a parent, want my child to understand about this world we live in, and it is to teach compassion and kindness to all, especially to those that have no voice to speak for themselves, we must be a voice for them.
YOU GUYS ARE LOSING ANOTHER LIFELONG FAN IF YOU GO THRU WITH THIS CONCERT. THERE'S NO EXCUSE, NO AMOUNT OF $ THAT COULD EVER REMEDY WHAT WE HAVE DONE TO THESE GENTLE INTELLIGENT HUMANS OF THE SEA. PLEASE RECONSIDER - WATCH BLACKFISH THEN DECIDE!
The less money seaworld and other "amusement" parks like it recieve, the sooner they will have to shut down, making a solid exit for the dolphins and orcas abuse.

PLEASE CANCEL YOUR SHOW AT SEA WORLD! I have enjoyed your music for a long time but cannot support artists that profit from the misery and torture of living beings. These animals are highly intelligent, socially bonded living creatures.
