WDC have recently refused planning for a new takeaway business in Renton. The proposal involved changing the use of the old Saltire Store to a hot food takeaway.

Not only would this proposal make use of a building that’s currently lying empty (we have plenty of those) and has been for years, it would bring jobs to the local area, give people of Renton choice for hot food takeaways and help to reinvigorate the area.
