I too have given up on E.Bway Station and now walk to Delancey which is far more pleasant and much cleaner.

During the renovation of the entire NYC subway stations, it stopped at Delancey Street. East Broadway has been deteriorating since the 60's. It is rat infested, poor lighting and a haven for drug dealers. It is the current station for many who are coming to Gouverneur Health Services on Madison Street. The escalator has been out for months. I do not use this station and go to Delancey Street. It is a disgrace that our neighborhood is singled out by this neglect.

The station is way past disgusting. Compare it to the station only one stop away, i.e, Delancey Street which well maintained, clean and even has decorated tiles.

This station is disgusting. I'm embarrassed to have friends take the F to this stop to come visit me. Grimiest station I've seen anywhere in Manhattan by far.
