Reno County - Take Action to Stop The Spread

This community is being irresponsible by not requiring these safety measurements. It’s time that leadership steps up and protects all members of the community

Wearing a mask is essential to stopping the spread of this virus. I am dismayed when I see people in public places massless. There should be consequences for their stupidity.

We must defeat this virus together! It is not partisanship. It is patriotism and love for others.

A lot of my friends and me work in hospitals this is quickly getting out of hand and we can't rely on people to do what is right and best on their own unfortunately.

I have daughter's working the covid units. They our seeing the true effects this is taking on families. We need to put a mask on to protect yourself and others from spreading this virus. Please sign the petition we all need to take this serious. It's heartbreaking to our community that our city council wants to questioned doctor's and science. Wake up before it takes the one's you love. Our hospital staff is overwhelmed by the cases. Our doctor's and nurse's our exhausted and tired.

I completely agree with this and am dismayed at Mark Steffen’s approach as well as that he is on the council on an interim basis at all.

I'm not here for me, I'm here for her. When I talk to my brother in DC working tirelessly, 16 hour days for President Elect-Biden. He along with countless other family members and loved ones have never even gotten to hold his little niece because of this. I feel her and all those other children who are missing being loved on, and feeling affection, out of fear of infection are being robbed. Because of greed. The biggest argument for not shutting down is loss of money and economy. What about the mental and emotional costs to our young and old ? You justify that price to them. If you don't have one I'll give you one of mine and I'll stay home. It's selfish not to wear one. They don't protect the wearer, they protect that scared young mom who's picking up baby food for her little one, or that senior getting medication for his sick wife he may only have a short time left with. Don't be part of the problem.

All of our area hospitals are at capacity and they are sending patients as far away as Derby. Health care workers don't need praise they need the public to cooperate.

Wearing a mask is an action that ànyone can do during this deadly virus that shows that you care about others.

9 more people have died since this was drafted. Our count is up to 28 people dead. There should be fines for those not following the mandates.

Be more strict, people are out of control. no large weddings or gatherings. Not above 6-10 people or fine them. Masks at all times a must.
