This show is honestly so gorgeous and beautifully put together. It explores so many issues of race, gender, sexuality, family relations, politics and so many things and brings them together so beautifully! I believe it is a historic event to watch this show as it comes out honestly, this world deserves more of it!!!

As a life long supporter of the hip hop culture it was a blessing to see a series that focused on the beginning of it. To not renew it for a 2nd season would be an injustice!

The get down is not only a great show but an important one. A show as racially diverse as this one; that not only touches on but tackles themes like racism, sexism, feminism, sexuality; needs to continue and needs to be there to start conversations.
