This show is absolutely incredible and it would be a huge mistake to not renew it! It's such an amazing difference from so many other shows, the kind you don't often see, Please give us season 2 and beyond!

The get down is not only a fantastic show, it has helped me (a white British person) to understand and sympathise with the struggle of people of colour in america. Representation such as the kind seen in the get down is vital in telling the rich andd compelling stories of people sidelined by mainstream media
